6b.-Western Arena Trail – ALL OTHER Breeds – (Requires Arena/Ring Setting, Visible Obstacle that the entry is
Negotiating in the photo and description of what the entry is negotiating.) – Same photo May NOT

7.-Western Natural Trail – All Breeds – (Requires Natural Setting with a Visible Obstacle that the entry is
negotiating in the Photo and a description of what the entry is negotiating.) This is a class for horses shown
on a trail type setting (as in the woods, deep woods or mountains, open fields, any unpopulated area)
negotiating an obstacle they may encounter while on that ride. Examples of those obstacles include:
walking, jogging, or loping over fallen tree limbs, trunks; crossing streams, climbing up/down steep
inclines, negotiating narrow paths/ledges, narrow brush lined paths, etc. Photos showing entries
encountering family picnics, passing clothes on a clothesline, etc., should be entered in class 52.
Same photo may NOT show in Class 6a, or 6b.
8. -Western Showmanship – Requires Arena/Ring setting, Halter & Leadline on the horse and an Appropriately
Dressed (including long pants, shirt, coat (if required) hat, boots, etc.) Handler – NO FOALS, or Drafters.
Must describe what part of the pattern the entry is performing.
9. –Western Riding – Requires Arena/Ring setting – Western Riding is a pattern class. Must include a description of
what element of the pattern the entry is executing and the pattern (ex: AQHA WR Pattern #1,
Element #1 – Walk at least 15’ & jog over log, entry is jogging over the log.).
Western Pleasure Champion and Reserve (from points earned in Classes 1-9 )
Working Western Division
10.-Cutting – (Arena Setting – Requires steer in photo) – must describe what entry is doing.
11.-Roping – (Arena Setting –Requires steer in photo) – must describe what entry is doing.
12.-Reining – (Arena Setting – Entry must state what pattern and the element the entry is depicting.)
13.-Other Stock Work – Arena Setting – (Includes Working Cow Horse, Reined Cow Horse, Team Penning, Sheep
Herding, etc. Any Other Western Horse Show Performance Event that involves stock (as defined by
TOPSA). Must include description of what the entry is doing.) If your entry fits into any of the other
classes in this show, it will be DQ’d. One Photo Per Horse.
Western Working Champion and Reserve (from points earned in Classes 10-13)
Western Game Division
14.-Barrel Racing – (Arena Setting – Barrel must be visible in photo)
15.-Pole Bending – (Arena Setting – Poles must be visible in photo)
16.-Other Western Speed Games – (Arena Setting – Entry must include description of Game and what element the
horse is completing. Games such as Pick-Up Race will require rider dolls.) One Photo per horse.
17.-Other Western Non-Speed Games – (Arena Setting – Entry must include description of Game and what element
the entry is completing in the photo. Some games such as Egg & Spoon will require a rider.) One photo
per horse, so pick your best. If your entry fits into any of the other classes in this show, it will be DQ’d.
18. – Other Western Performance – All Breeds – Arena Seting – Any Other Western Horse Show Performance

English Over Fence Division
29A.-Hunters Over Fences – STOCK Breeds - Arena/Ring Setting – Hunter type Jump MUST be visible in photo. Same photo may NOT enter Classes: 29B or 30.
29B.-Hunters Over Fences – ALL OTHER Breeds - Arena/Ring Setting – Hunter type Jump MUST be visible in photo. Same photo may NOT enter Classes: 29A or 30.

31.-Lower Level Dressage – USEF Training Level – Fourth Level (Open to All Breeds) – Requires Dressage Arena
setting Must state Level, Test #, Movement, and Gait/Movement the entry is performing. Same entry/horse
may NOT show in Class 32.
32.-Upper Level Dressage – FEI Prix St. George – Grand Prix (Open to All Breeds) – Requires Dressage Arena
Setting. Must state Level, Test #, Movement, and Gait/Movement the entry is performing. Same entry/horse
may NOT show in Class 31.
33.-English Games – All Breeds – (Requires Arena/Ring setting – Requires Appropriate Props for Game being
depicted. Examples: Egg & Spoon requires a rider, tack and an Egg and Spoon; Dollar Bareback requires a
bridle, rider and a VISIBLE dollar or facsimile of, etc.)
34. – Sidesaddle - Arena Setting

43.-Other Harness - Arena Setting - (Any other type of ARENA Harness event. All Roadster Horse & Pony

44.-Foal/Yearling Showmanship – NO Draft Foals – Arena/Ring Setting – Appropriately Dressed Handler (See
Western or English Showmanship for Dress Requirements), Halter & Lead REQUIRED – Must state what
the entry is doing --- May NOT show in Classes: 8, 28 or 46a.
45.-Foal/Yearling Performance – All Breeds – Arena/Ring Setting – Any Foal in any type of Horse Show
Foal/Yearling Performance Event. – Handlers MUST be dressed Appropriately, Western Attire if Using
Western Tack, English Attire if using English Tack, including Hats & Boots – Must state what the entry
is doing.
46.-Miniature Horses ALL IN-HAND PERFORMANCE AND OBSTACLE DRIVING ENTRIES - NO
PONIES – ONE PHOTO PER MINI HORSE. PERMITTED IN THIS CLASS – NO PLEASURE
DRIVING ENTRIES (See Class 40) - (Must be in a ring/arena setting, handler must be dressed to fit the
style of the entry [i.e., western attire for western, english attire for english, etc., including Hats & Boots].
46a.-Draft Horse Showmanship including Draft Foals – (Requires Ring/Arena Setting) – Halter and Leadline on the
horse and an appropriately Dressed (including long pants, shirt, coat (if required), hat, boots, etc. Handler.
Must state what part of the pattern the entry is performing. May not show in Classes, 8, 28, or 44.
47.-All Other Performance (Requires proper setting for the event) – One photo per horse, so pick your best. – A
description of what your entry is doing must be included. If your entry fits into any of the other classes in
this show, it will be DQ’d.
Other Performance Champion and Reserve (from points earned in Classes 44-47)
Scene Division – ONE PHOTO PER ENTRY/HORSE PER CLASS
48.-Ranch/Farm Work Scenes – (Examples: Branding, Plowing, Pulling Hay Wagons, Cutting in Open
Fields/Range, logging, etc.) Any kind of work a horse might be seen doing on a Ranch or Farm – Limit
of 10 entries per owner. Same Photo may NOT show in classes: 10, 11, 12, 13, 18, or 43. If your entry
fits into any of the other classes in this show, it will be DQ’d
49.-Historical/Period Scenes – May not enter same photo in Class 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, or 39 - (Any scene from
history or costume period photos) - Limit of 10 entries per owner. If your entry fits into any of the other classes
in this show, it will be DQ’d
50 –Circus/Theatrical Scenes – (Anything to do with the Circus, Movies, TV, etc.) -- Limit of 10 entries per owner. Same photo may NOT show in classes 36, 37, 38, or 39. If your entry fits into any of the other classes in
this show, it will be DQ’d
51 –ALL Demonstration Scenes – (Requires Ring/Arena Setting) - Any event that would not be judged -- Limit of
10 entries per owner.. If your entry fits into any of the other classes in this show, it will be DQ’d
52.-Trail Riding/Pleasure Riding – (Out for a ride with the dogs, friends, etc.) – Same photo may NOT show in
classes 6A, 6B, 7, 26A, 26B, OR 27. Limit of 10 entries per owner. If your entry fits into any of the other
classes in this show, it will be DQ’d
53 –Other Scenes - Anything that DOES NOT FIT INTO CLASSES 48-52 – BUT – Keep It CLEAN!!! –
Limit of 10 entries per owner. If your entry fits into any of the other classes in this show, it will be DQ’d

Sporting Division
54 – Flat Racing – ALL Breeds – (Must be in appropriate race track setting)
55 - Cross Country – Natural Setting – Cross Country Obstacle must be visible in photo. Same Photo may NOT
enter Cl. 57.
56 – ALL Steeplechase/Point-to-Point Entries – Must be in appropriate setting. Same photo may NOT enter
Classes 7, 27, 29a, 29b, 30, 35, 47, 49, 51, or 53.
57 - Foxhunting - Photos taken in a natural setting as found on a Foxhunt. Foxhounds required in the photo. Jumps
are Optional. If a jump is used in the photo, it must be one that would be encountered while on a Foxhunt
(Examples of jumps - natural colored post & rail type fence jumps, white rail fence jumps, natural or
white gate jumps, brush jumps, hedge jumps, stone WALLS, natural colored chicken coop jumps
[yes, this is a type of jump, not a crate for chickens], etc.) Jumps MUST be at least as high or higher as
the knees of the horse/entry in the photo. ANY PHOTO DEPICTING ANY PHASE OF
FOXHUNTING MAY BE ENTERED IN THIS CLASS. Same photo may NOT enter Classes: 29a, 29b,
30, 35, 47, 49, 51, 53, 55, 56, or 58.
58 – Other Sporting Events – Must be in appropriate setting – Includes Polo, Harness Racing, Extreme Cowboy,
Obstacle Driving, etc.
